Project-development workshop carried out

29-01-2020

A workshop for potential applicants was carried out on 29th January 2020 in Szombathely (Hungary) within the framework of the Cooperation Program Interreg V-A Austria-Hungary, prior to the 8th submission deadline for applications.

During the workshop, the status quo of the program, special requirements, content-related as well as financial recommendations related to the 8th submission round were presented to the more than 60 participants. Afterwards, an interactive session was organized by the representatives of the Interreg V-A AT-HU Program for participants to get acquainted with the preparation of a quality project but also to explain the most common mistakes and help the attendees avoiding them. Besides, the importance of proper communication within partnerships was stressed, and information provided on how to further develop and capitalize on available project results. Participants were finally invited to take part in a group work dedicated to communication.

In the second part of the workshop organized in the form of roundtable discussions, additional useful information was provided concerning successful applications, project-capitalization and the further development of available project results. The majority of participants also shared their future project-ideas, concepts and fields of interest during the discussions. It is fortunate that the concepts introduced by the applicants were mostly in line with the general requirements and recommendations of the programme presented at the beginning of the workshop.

The regional coordinators look forward hearing more about the project concepts discussed during the workshop, that is helping project-holders in developing and submitting successful applications.
