Results of the publicly held EU-wide consultation of the European Commission

Here are the results of the publicly held EU-wide consultation of the European Commission about the obstacle for cross-border cooperation
 

Between 21st of September and 21st of December 623 citizens, organisations, companies and public institutions from border regions have sent their opinion about obstacles of cross-border cooperation and possible solutions to them to the European Commission.

Besides well known challenges like labor mobility, differences in taxation and different reachability there language issues that cause problems for neighboring relations.

For that reason supporting the improvement of language skills and cultural exchange should be one of the keyfactors that should be communicated as such. Interested organisations and citizens are required to foster activities in this direction.
