Closing partner forum in Hegykő
A partner forum was held on 20 October 2022 in Hegykő, with the aim of presenting the results of the project from the Austrian and Hungarian side and sharing the current experiences of local product marketing. The event also provided an opportunity to learn about good practices of producers of local products in the Fertő region.
The participants first visited the joint kitchen of RenKa and Edó in Fertőszéplak, who produce jams, syrups, chutneys, spice sauces and most recently lyophilized fruits. They then visited the 1 Csepp Pálinkafőzde in Hegykő, followed by the Szentkői Brewery in Fertőhomok. The second half of the event was held in the conference room of the Tornácos House in Hegykő, where after a welcome speech by Dr. János Iváncsics, presentations were given. While Laura Bazsóné Bertalan presented the results from the Hungarian side, Christian Faissler-Simm presented the results from the Austrian side. Afterwards, the workshop participants reported on their own experiences.
