Advent regional product show and closing conference

As a Hungarian partner of the project Shop of Region, KVA 2022 held an advent regional product show and closing conference on 8 December 2022 in Mosonmagyaróvár. The aim of the event was to present the results of the Austrian and Hungarian side and to share experiences in selling local products. The Hungarian Minister of Agriculture, Dr. István Nagy, who praised the initiative in his welcome speech and presentation, opened the event.

The representative of the lead partner, Christian Fraissler-Simm, was not able to attend in person and presented the key activities and achievements of the project via a recorded presentation. Afterwards, (Üveges) Eszter Balogh presented 23 years of her business. She found it difficult to find her place among the many producers of food from vegetables, fruits and living ingredients, but it was her different vision and way of thinking that helped each other to make the project a success. Finally, Ingrid Jung-Blaha presented her experiences from the May Marktfest in a panel discussion with Balázs Kovács (GD Consulting Vienna).

KVA also provided an opportunity for the entrepreneurs and local product producers involved in the project implementation to exhibit and taste their products, and to briefly present how they started, developed and expanded their businesses, and the platforms and channels through which they sell their products.
