Survey of ecological networks

An important objective of the AgriNatur project is the survey of ecological networks in the project areas.
The Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences of Széchenyi István University carried out the first tree species and ornithological studies in the Wittmann Park in Mosonmagyaróvár and the Natura 2000 area of the Moson plain this summer.
The first surveys provide a basic record, followed by further studies in the later phases of the project, intending to assess habitat development. It is interesting to note that the 458 trees on the largest green area in the city belong to 37 tree species.

The results of the surveys led to three studies, which are available on the microsite of the project.
