border(hi)stories

"border (hi)stories" reflects the history and present of the Hungarian-Austrian border region as cultural and economic space, which is characterized by a diversity of identities. The history of the 20th Century afflicted this region with various traumata. The joint discussion of this hardly processed history will help establish a modern identity of a historic border and cultural region and contribute to the appreciative acknowledgement of its cultural diversity. Thus, the project is designed to support a peaceful and prosperous development  of the region.
