Museum education sessions in Schandorf

On 09.06. the elementary school Dürnbach and on 10.6. the elementary school Neuberg visited the ArcheON stations in Schandorf. After a short introduction about archaeology, the project, and the early Iron Age, the children were allowed to excavate, try out stone tools, forge, sketch finds and also shape vessels out of clay. As a conclusion the burial mounds of the northern group were visited on which a "treasure" was hidden. A total of 50 children and 9 teachers/supervisors participated through these two days.
