Project achievements
The core outputs of the project are
- Conversion measures at the Wulkaprodersorf and Fertöszentmiklos stations to improve intermodality and promote electromobility,
- the creation of a cross-border e-mobility strategy,
- the creation of a cross-border marketing strategy and its implementation as part of a campaign and information events,
- the preparation of feasibility studies on the use of alternative drive forms in rail and bus transport as well as the requirements for the energy industry in this context are examined.
With the implementation of these work packages, the goals
- Creation of the framework conditions for more e-mobility in the project area,
- Attractiveness of multimodal hubs,
- Generation of knowledge with regard to alternative drives in public transport,
and the communication goals
- Raise awareness (Through information events, training courses, social media activities, newsletters, printed materials, etc. the public is addressed with the topic of climate-friendly mobility and thus encouraged to rethink),
- Influence attitude (The project regions population is to be motivated to switch to climate-friendly mobility in the medium to long term. The ecological and economic advantages of electric cars and e-bikes are pointed out, but the fun factor is also promoted),
- Change behavior (Making the environmentally friendly and sustainable transport system more attractive promotes the increased switch to electromobility, active mobility, public transport and multimodality),
- Increase knowledge (Increase in knowledge for decision-makers)
